Over the period under review, exports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2020, exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, unwrought aluminium alloys exports dropped to $X in 2020. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a slight slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2010 when exports increased by X% year-to-year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2020, exports failed to regain the momentum.

In 2020, Russia (X tons) represented the main exporter of unwrought aluminium alloys, creating X% of total exports. Poland (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Slovakia (X%), Romania (X%) and the Czech Republic (X%). Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2020, imports failed to regain the momentum.

In value terms, unwrought aluminium alloys imports fell markedly to $X in 2020. Total imports indicated modest growth from 2007 to 2020: its value increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last thirteen-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2020 figures, imports decreased by -X% against 2018 indices.
