Exports in Eastern Europe

In 2022, approx. X tons of tapioca and substitutes were exported in Eastern Europe; shrinking by X% on 2021. In general, exports, however, recorded strong growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, tapioca and substitutes exports reduced to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a strong expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.

In 2022, Moldova (X tons), Belarus (X tons) and the Czech Republic (X tons) was the key exporter of tapioca and substitutes in Eastern Europe, constituting X% of total export.
