In 2022, the amount of sorbitol (excluding d-glucitol) exported in Eastern Europe surged to X tons, increasing by X% against the year before. In general, exports posted a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, sorbitol exports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports posted a strong increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

The Czech Republic prevails in exports structure, recording X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022.
