In 2022, overseas shipments of sheep or lamb skins (without wool) decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the fourth consecutive year after two years of growth. Overall, exports continue to indicate a deep downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, sheepskin and lambskin exports contracted markedly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a precipitous curtailment.
