Exports in Eastern Europe

After two years of growth, shipments abroad of pulses decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. Overall, exports, however, showed prominent growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, pulses exports rose notably to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, saw a remarkable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when exports increased by X%. The level of export peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Russia dominates exports structure, recording X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. Latvia (X tons) took the second position in the ranking, followed by Ukraine (X tons) and Lithuania (X tons). All these countries together took near X% share of total exports. The Czech Republic (X tons), Poland (X tons) and Estonia (X tons) took a relatively small share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to pulses exports from Russia stood at X%.
