Exports in Eastern Europe

In 2022, after eight years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas shipments of propene (propylene), when their volume decreased by X% to X tons. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X tons in 2021, and then reduced rapidly in the following year.

Overall, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2021, and then fell remarkably in the following year.

In value terms, propene imports dropped rapidly to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern.
