Prepared Baking Powder Exports

Exports in Eastern Europe

After two years of decline, shipments abroad of prepared baking powders increased by X% to X tons in 2022. Overall, exports posted a noticeable expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, prepared baking powder exports totaled $X in 2022. Total exports indicated a tangible increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.

Exports by Country

Poland represented the main exporting country with an export of about X tons, which resulted at X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Russia (X tons), Hungary (X tons), Latvia (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons) and Romania (X tons), together achieving a X% share of total exports. Slovakia (X tons) took a minor share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to prepared baking powder exports from Poland stood at X%. At the same time, Slovakia (X%), Romania (X%), Russia (X%), the Czech Republic (X%) and Latvia (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Imports in Eastern Europe

After six years of growth, overseas purchases of prepared baking powders decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. Total imports indicated a tangible increase from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by X% against 2015 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by X%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2021, and then dropped slightly in the following year.

In value terms, prepared baking powder imports stood at $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed noticeable growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by X%. The level of import peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
