In 2022, plastic household ware exports in Eastern Europe contracted modestly to X tons, remaining constant against 2021. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, plastic household ware exports declined modestly to $X in 2022. Total exports indicated a prominent increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2018 indices. While the share of Poland (X p.p.), Russia (X p.p.) and the Czech Republic (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Hungary (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Poland ($X) remains the largest plastic household ware supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the Czech Republic ($X), with a X% share of total exports. It was followed by Hungary, with a X% share.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The purchases of the six major importers of plastics household articles and toilet articles, namely Poland, Russia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania and Slovakia, represented more than two-thirds of total import. Ukraine (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
