Non-Enclosed Loudspeakers Exports

Exports in Eastern Europe

For the third consecutive year, Eastern Europe recorded growth in overseas shipments of loudspeakers (not in enclosure), which increased by 60% to X units in 2021. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a resilient increase. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, non-enclosed loudspeakers exports shrank slightly to $X in 2021. Total exports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.9% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, exports decreased by -3.6% against 2019 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 49%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Hungary (X units) represented the largest exporter of loudspeakers (not in enclosure), mixing up 58% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Poland (X units) and Slovakia (X units), together achieving a 37% share of total exports. The Czech Republic (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the key exporting countries, was attained by Hungary (with a CAGR of +22.8%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 34% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked in 2021 and is likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.
