Exports in Eastern Europe

After two years of growth, overseas shipments of iron or steel flexible tubing decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. Total exports indicated a resilient expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2018 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Exports from the Czech Republic increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Latvia (X%), Romania (X%), Poland (X%), Bulgaria (X%) and Russia (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Latvia emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Belarus (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Poland (X p.p.), Romania (X p.p.), Latvia (X p.p.) and Bulgaria (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Belarus (X p.p.) and the Czech Republic (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the Czech Republic ($X) remains the largest metal flexible tubing supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Poland ($X), with a X% share of total exports. It was followed by Bulgaria, with a X% share.

In the Czech Republic, metal flexible tubing exports expanded at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Poland (X% per year) and Bulgaria (X% per year).
