Exports in Eastern Europe

For the eleventh year in a row, Eastern Europe recorded growth in shipments abroad of canned meat, which increased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, exports saw a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, canned meat exports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a resilient increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.

Exports by Country

Poland represented the largest exporter of canned meat in Eastern Europe, with the volume of exports reaching X tons, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Hungary (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons), Romania (X tons) and Russia (X tons), together generating a X% share of total exports. The following exporters - Slovakia (X tons) and Lithuania (X tons) - each resulted at a X% share of total exports.

Poland was also the fastest-growing in terms of the canned meat exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022.
