Exports in Eastern Europe

In 2022, shipments abroad of furniture of plastic decreased by X% to X units, falling for the fourth consecutive year after three years of growth. In general, exports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, plastic furniture exports reached $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a resilient expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the near future.

In 2022, Poland (X units) represented the major exporter of furniture of plastic, mixing up X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Russia (X units) and the Czech Republic (X units), together mixing up a X% share of total exports. Belarus (X units), Hungary (X units), Slovakia (X units) and Bulgaria (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
