Exports in Eastern Europe
In 2022, exports of copper bars, wire and plates in Eastern Europe dropped dramatically to X tons, falling by X% compared with 2021 figures. In general, exports showed a pronounced decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, copper bars, wire and plates exports dropped significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports continue to indicate a perceptible decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Poland was the main exporting country with an export of about X tons, which accounted for X% of total exports. Bulgaria (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Russia (X%). The Czech Republic (X tons) and Ukraine (X tons) took a little share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to copper bars, wire and plates exports from Poland stood at X%. At the same time, Bulgaria (X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
