Christmas Decoration Exports

Exports in Eastern Europe

In 2022, the amount of christmas decoration exported in Eastern Europe fell slightly to X units, approximately equating 2021. Overall, exports, however, posted a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

At the same time, Hungary (X%), Russia (X%), Slovakia (X%), Romania (X%) and Belarus (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Hungary emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Ukraine (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Poland (X p.p.) and Hungary (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Belarus (X p.p.), Slovakia (X p.p.) and Ukraine (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Poland ($X) remains the largest christmas decoration supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Slovakia ($X), with a X% share of total exports. It was followed by Ukraine, with a X% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in Poland stood at X%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Slovakia (X% per year) and Ukraine (X% per year).

The export price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per unit in 2022, surging by X% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern.
