Exports in Eastern Europe

In 2022, approx. X tons of artificial fur were exported in Eastern Europe; increasing by X% against 2021 figures. In general, exports continue to indicate a prominent expansion. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, Belarus (X tons) was the main exporter of artificial fur, achieving X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Poland (X tons) and Russia (X tons), together creating a X% share of total exports. Ukraine (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons) and Bulgaria (X tons) held a relatively small share of total exports.

Belarus was also the fastest-growing in terms of the artificial fur exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ukraine (X%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

Imports in Eastern Europe

In 2022, the amount of artificial fur imported in Eastern Europe was estimated at X tons, with an increase of X% on the previous year's figure. Overall, imports continue to indicate notable growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of X%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, artificial fur imports shrank to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a perceptible shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Imports by Country

In 2022, Belarus (X tons) represented the major importer of artificial fur, creating X% of total imports. Russia (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Poland (X%). The following importers - Ukraine (X tons), Bulgaria (X tons), Romania (X tons) and the Czech Republic (X tons) - together made up X% of total imports.
