Berry Exports

Exports in Eastern Asia

In 2022, after four years of growth, there was decline in shipments abroad of berries, when their volume decreased by X% to X tons. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2021, and then dropped slightly in the following year.

In value terms, berry exports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, saw significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

The shipments of the one major exporters of berries, namely Hong Kong SAR, represented more than two-thirds of total export.
