Exports in Eastern Asia

In 2023, overseas shipments of aluminium alloy plates, sheets and strip of thickness over X mm decreased by X% to X tons for the first time since 2020, thus ending a two-year rising trend. Over the period under review, exports, however, posted a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2022, and then contracted dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, exports of aluminium alloy plates, sheets and strip of thickness over X mm reduced remarkably to $X in 2023. In general, exports, however, saw a resilient expansion.
