By contrast, Saudi Arabia (-X%), Belgium (-X%) and France (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. The U.S. (+X p.p.), South Africa (+X p.p.), Romania (+X p.p.), the United Arab Emirates (+X p.p.), Senegal (+X p.p.) and the UK (+X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the global imports, while Belgium, Saudi Arabia and France saw its share reduced by -X%, -X% and -X% from 2007 to 2018, respectively.
