Exports from Denmark

After two years of decline, shipments abroad of voiles, webs, mats and other articles of glass fibers increased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a noticeable curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, glass fiber exports fell modestly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, saw a deep contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Sweden (X tons), the UK (X tons) and France (X tons) were the main destinations of glass fiber exports from Denmark, together accounting for X% of total exports.
