From 2019 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, cattle hide and skin exports surged to $X in 2021. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a pronounced shrinkage. The exports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Italy (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Sweden (X tons) were the main destinations of cattle hide and skin exports from Denmark, with a combined 57% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Slovenia, China, the Netherlands and Austria, which together accounted for a further 35%.
