Germany (X tonnes), Slovakia (X tonnes) and Sweden (X tonnes) were the main destinations of exports of raw steel and steel semi-finished products from Denmark, with a combined X% share of total exports. Poland, Finland and Hungary lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X 2007 to 2020, the biggest increases were in Finland, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest markets for raw steel and steel semi-finished products exported from Denmark were Germany ($X), Slovakia ($X) and Poland ($X), with a combined X% share of total exports. Overall, export price indicated a remarkable increase from 2007 to 2020: its price increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last thirteen years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2020 figures, export price for raw steel and steel semi-finished products increased by +X% against 2018 indices. Imports of raw steel and steel semi-finished products into Denmark declined to X tonnes in 2020, dropping by -X% against the previous year's figure. In general, imports saw a slight setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2010 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tonnes in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, imports of raw steel and steel semi-finished products shrank to $X in 2020. Overall, imports showed a pronounced curtailment.
