Exports from the Czech Republic

In 2022, shipments abroad of yarn of wool increased by X% to X tons, rising for the second consecutive year after five years of decline. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The exports peaked at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, woolen yarn exports soared to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The exports peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Italy (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Austria (X tons) were the main destinations of woolen yarn exports from the Czech Republic, together comprising X% of total exports. Lithuania, Norway and Sweden lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.
