Exports from the Czech Republic

After two years of growth, shipments abroad of woven fabrics of man-made filaments and staple fibers decreased by X% to X square meters in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of X%. The exports peaked at X square meters in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, man-made filament fabric exports soared to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being observed in certain years. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Germany (X square meters), Turkey (X square meters) and Poland (X square meters) were the main destinations of man-made filament fabric exports from the Czech Republic, together accounting for X% of total exports. Romania, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Belgium, Russia and the UK lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Belgium (with a CAGR of X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
