Exports from the Czech Republic
In 2022, overseas shipments of unvulcanised rubber increased by X% to X tons, rising for the second year in a row after four years of decline. Overall, exports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when exports increased by X%. The exports peaked at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, unvulcanised rubber exports expanded markedly to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, recorded a mild decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
Exports by Country
Poland (X tons), Slovakia (X tons) and Slovenia (X tons) were the main destinations of unvulcanised rubber exports from the Czech Republic, with a combined X% share of total exports. Germany, Romania, Serbia, Belgium, Mexico, the Netherlands and Ukraine lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by the Netherlands (with a CAGR of X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ukraine (X%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into the Czech Republic
In 2022, approx. X tons of unvulcanised rubber were imported into the Czech Republic; reducing by X% on 2021 figures. Overall, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern.
