In 2022, overseas shipments of prepared or preserved meat or offal of turkeys increased by X% to X tons, rising for the second consecutive year after six years of decline. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a perceptible reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, preserved turkey exports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, showed a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

Slovakia (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Romania (X tons) were the main destinations of preserved turkey exports from the Czech Republic, with a combined X% share of total exports. Lithuania, Hungary and Austria lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.

Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a mild setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, preserved turkey imports stood at $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, saw a slight shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by X% against the previous year.
