Fluorspar Market Size in the Czech Republic

The revenue of the fluorspar market in the Czech Republic amounted to $X in 2018, going up by X% against the previous year. This figure reflects the total revenues of producers and importers (excluding logistics costs, retail marketing costs, and retailers' margins, which will be included in the final consumer price). In general, fluorspar exports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The Czech Republic exports peaked at X tonnes in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, fluorspar exports stood at $X in 2018. Overall, fluorspar exports, however, continue to indicate a slight expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The Czech Republic exports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2018, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Exports by Country

In 2018, Mexico (X tonnes), distantly followed by Mongolia (X tonnes), China (X tonnes) and South Africa (X tonnes) were the main exporters of fluorspar, together generating X% of total exports. Spain (X tonnes), Morocco (X tonnes), Myanmar (X tonnes), Italy (X tonnes), Namibia (X tonnes) and Thailand (X tonnes) took a minor share of total exports.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of exports, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Myanmar (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Mexico ($X) remains the largest fluorspar supplier from the Czech Republic, comprising X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Mongolia ($X), with a X% share of global exports. It was followed by China, with a X% share.

In Mexico, fluorspar exports expanded at an average annual rate of +X% over the period from 2007-2018. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Mongolia (+X% per year) and China (-X% per year).

Export Prices by Country

The fluorspar export price in the Czech Republic stood at $X per tonne in 2018, rising by X% against the previous year. In general, the export price indicated a slight increase from 2007 to 2018: its price increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last eleven years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2008 when the export price increased by X% year-to-year. In 2018, the amount of fluorspar imported into the Czech Republic stood at X tonnes, going up by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, fluorspar imports, however, continue to indicate an abrupt deduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, fluorspar imports attained their peak figure at X tonnes in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, imports failed to regain their momentum.

In value terms, fluorspar imports amounted to $X in 2018. Over the period under review, fluorspar imports, however, continue to indicate a measured shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2010 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. The Czech Republic imports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2018, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Imports by Country

In 2018, the U.S. (X tonnes), distantly followed by Italy (X tonnes), India (X tonnes), Japan (X tonnes), China (X tonnes), Russia (X tonnes) and Germany (X tonnes) were the major importers of fluorspar, together mixing up X% of total imports. The following importers - Turkey (X tonnes), Tunisia (X tonnes), the Netherlands (X tonnes), South Korea (X tonnes) and Canada (X tonnes) - together made up X% of total imports.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of imports, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by China, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest fluorspar importing markets into the Czech Republic were the U.S. ($X), India ($X) and Germany ($X), together accounting for X% of total imports. Italy, Japan, China, Russia, Canada, South Korea, Turkey, Tunisia, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X the main importing countries, Turkey recorded the highest growth rate of imports, over the last eleven years, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices by Country

The fluorspar import price in the Czech Republic stood at $X per tonne in 2018, jumping by X% against the previous year. In general, the import price indicated perceptible growth from 2007 to 2018: its price increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last eleven years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2018 figures, fluorspar import price increased by +X% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2012 an increase of X% year-to-year. In that year, the import prices for fluorspar reached their peak level of $X per tonne. From 2013 to 2018, the growth in terms of the import prices for fluorspar remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2018, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per tonne), while Russia ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
