Scaffolding Market Size in the Czech Republic

Slovakia (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes) and Slovenia (X tonnes) were the main destinations of scaffolding exports from the Czech Republic, with a combined X% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Spain, Austria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Peru, Switzerland, the UK and Hungary, which together accounted for a further X 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of exports, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Peru, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest markets for scaffolding exported from the Czech Republic were Slovakia ($X), Germany ($X) and Austria ($X), together accounting for X% of total exports. These countries were followed by Slovenia, Spain, the UK, Serbia, Poland, Switzerland, Peru, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which together accounted for a further X experienced the highest growth rate of exports, among the main countries of destination over the last eleven years, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the average export prices for equipment for scaffolding, shuttering, propping or pit propping reached their maximum at $X per tonne in 2009; however, from 2010 to 2018, export prices failed to regain their momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into the Czech Republic

In 2018, the amount of equipment for scaffolding, shuttering, propping or pit propping imported into the Czech Republic stood at X tonnes, increasing by X% against the previous year. Overall, the total imports indicated a modest expansion from 2007 to 2018: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last eleven years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2018 figures, scaffolding imports increased by +X% against 2016 indices. There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2018, the country with the highest price was Austria ($X per tonne), while the price for Poland ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain, while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
