Overall, exports, however, recorded a abrupt decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by 163% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, citrus fruit preserves exports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, exports, however, recorded a abrupt decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by 96%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Slovakia (X tons), Hungary (X tons) and Lithuania (X tons) were the main destinations of citrus fruit preserves exports from the Czech Republic, with a combined 65% share of total exports. Poland, Germany, Austria and Latvia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 32%.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in Austria (with a CAGR of +132.4%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, imports, however, recorded a mild decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 62% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
