Exports from Croatia

In 2022, shipments abroad of woven fabrics of man-made filaments and staple fibers decreased by X% to X square meters for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year rising trend. In general, exports, however, saw significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X square meters in 2021, and then declined markedly in the following year.

In value terms, man-made filament fabric exports amounted to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, enjoyed a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

Bosnia and Herzegovina (X square meters) was the main destination for man-made filament fabric exports from Croatia, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, man-made filament fabric exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Austria (X square meters), threefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Slovakia (X square meters), with a X% share.
