Over the period under review, imports of hit record highs at X cubic meters in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.
In value terms, imports of wood residues, pellets and other agglomerates plummeted to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, enjoyed buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then fell rapidly in the following year.
Imports by Country
In 2022, Slovenia (X cubic meters) constituted the largest wood residues, pellets and other agglomerates supplier to Croatia, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, imports of wood residues, pellets and other agglomerates from Slovenia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Montenegro (X cubic meters), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Bosnia and Herzegovina (X cubic meters), with a X% share.
