After ten years of growth, shipments abroad of sauces and seasonings decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. Overall, exports, however, enjoyed a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2021, and then fell in the following year.

In value terms, sauce and seasoning exports shrank to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2021, and then fell slightly in the following year.

Poland (X tons), Slovenia (X tons) and Hungary (X tons) were the main destinations of sauce and seasoning exports from Croatia, together comprising X% of total exports. Over the period under review, total imports indicated a strong increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade.
