For the fifth year in a row, Croatia recorded growth in shipments abroad of prefabricated buildings, which increased by X% to X tons in 2022. Overall, exports continue to indicate a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
In value terms, prefabricated buildings exports rose significantly to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Exports by Country
Germany (X tons), Poland (X tons) and Austria (X tons) were the main destinations of prefabricated buildings exports from Croatia, together comprising X% of total exports. France, the Netherlands, Romania, the UK, Italy, Hungary, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Estonia and Belgium lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

Over the period under review, imports enjoyed significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by X%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in years to come.
In value terms, prefabricated buildings imports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, imports continue to indicate a buoyant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In 2022, Bosnia and Herzegovina (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of prefabricated buildings to Croatia, with a X% share of total imports.
