In general, exports enjoyed a slight expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of 281% against the previous year. The exports peaked at X square meters in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, composition leather exports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, exports recorded a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when exports increased by 176% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.

Italy (X square meters) was the main destination for composition leather exports from Croatia, with a 67% share of total exports. Moreover, composition leather exports to Italy exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Montenegro (X square meters), twofold.
