In 2022, shipments abroad of worked flat glass decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. Overall, exports, however, posted a measured expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, worked flat glass exports reduced dramatically to $X in 2022. In general, exports saw a mild downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2021, and then fell markedly in the following year.

For the fifth consecutive year, the CIS recorded decline in purchases abroad of worked flat glass, which decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, imports recorded a abrupt slump. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, Belarus (X tons), distantly followed by Kazakhstan (X tons), Russia (X tons) and Uzbekistan (X tons) were the largest importers of worked flat glass, together committing X% of total imports. Kyrgyzstan (X tons), Armenia (X tons) and Moldova (X tons) took a little share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Armenia (with a CAGR of X%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the imports figures.
