Welded and cold-formed steel sections exports reduced rapidly to X tons in 2022, which is down by X% compared with 2021. Over the period under review, exports saw a pronounced decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, welded and cold-formed steel sections exports shrank significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports continue to indicate a noticeable curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X, and then reduced rapidly in the following year.

The shipments of the one major exporters of welded and cold-formed sections of steel, namely Russia, represented more than two-thirds of total export.
