Exports in CIS

In 2022, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in shipments abroad of t-shirts, when their volume increased by X% to X units. In general, exports enjoyed significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, t-shirt exports reduced modestly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports enjoyed a perceptible increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Exports by Country

In 2022, Uzbekistan (X units), Kyrgyzstan (X units) and Moldova (X units) represented the key exporter of t-shirts in the CIS, committing X% of total export. Belarus (X units) ranks next in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Russia (X%). Armenia (X units) took a relatively small share of total exports.
