In value terms, polyamide imports amounted to $X in 2023. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a mild shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2023, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Imports by Country

Russia represented the largest importing country with an import of around X tons, which amounted to X% of total imports. Belarus (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total imports with an X% share, followed by Uzbekistan (X%) and Kazakhstan (X%).

Imports into Russia decreased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2023. At the same time, Uzbekistan (X%), Belarus (X%) and Kazakhstan (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. Belarus (X p.p.), Uzbekistan (X p.p.) and Kazakhstan (X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Russia saw its share reduced by X% from 2012 to 2023, respectively.
