In 2022, after ten years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas shipments of plastics household articles and toilet articles, when their volume decreased by X% to X tons. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a strong expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2021, and then declined in the following year.
In value terms, plastic household ware exports contracted sharply to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, saw a resilient expansion. Exports by Country
Russia was the main exporting country with an export of about X tons, which reached X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Uzbekistan (X tons) and Belarus (X tons), together creating a X% share of total exports. The following exporters - Kazakhstan (X tons) and Azerbaijan (X tons) - each finished at a X% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to plastic household ware exports from Russia stood at X%. At the same time, Kazakhstan (X%), Azerbaijan (X%), Uzbekistan (X%) and Belarus (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Kazakhstan emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the CIS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. While the share of Uzbekistan (X p.p.) and Kazakhstan (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Russia (X p.p.) and Belarus (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.
