Exports in CIS
In 2022, approx. X cubic meters of oxygen were exported in the CIS; falling by X% against the previous year's figure. In general, exports, however, posted a remarkable increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X cubic meters in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, oxygen exports contracted significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate prominent growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Exports by Country
Belarus was the main exporting country with an export of about X cubic meters, which amounted to X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Russia (X cubic meters), Kazakhstan (X cubic meters) and Azerbaijan (X cubic meters), together generating a X% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to oxygen exports from Belarus stood at X%. At the same time, Azerbaijan (X%), Kazakhstan (X%) and Russia (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Azerbaijan emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the CIS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Belarus, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan increased by X, X and X percentage points, respectively.

The export price in the CIS stood at $X per cubic meter in 2022, with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a noticeable slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X per cubic meter in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($X per cubic meter), while Russia ($X per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belarus (X%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

Imports in CIS
After two years of growth, purchases abroad of oxygen decreased by X% to X cubic meters in 2022. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a measured expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X cubic meters in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, oxygen imports reduced sharply to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports recorded a drastic downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by X%. The level of import peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
Imports by Country
Russia was the main importing country with an import of about X cubic meters, which accounted for X% of total imports. Belarus (X cubic meters) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Kazakhstan (X cubic meters). All these countries together held near X% share of total imports.
Russia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of imports of oxygen. At the same time, Belarus (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Belarus emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the CIS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Kazakhstan (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Belarus increased by X percentage points.
