Exports in CIS

For the fourth consecutive year, the CIS recorded growth in overseas shipments of soft drinks, which increased by X% to X litres in 2022. Over the period under review, exports saw a resilient increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, soft drink exports dropped to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2021, and then fell slightly in the following year.

In 2022, Russia (X litres) was the key exporter of soft drinks, constituting X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Kazakhstan (X litres) and Belarus (X litres), together committing a X% share of total exports. The following exporters - Azerbaijan (X litres) and Uzbekistan (X litres) - each finished at a X% share of total exports.
