Exports in CIS
In 2022, approx. X tons of narrow woven fabrics were exported in the CIS; reducing by X% against the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw prominent growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons, and then fell slightly in the following year.
In value terms, narrow woven fabric exports fell dramatically to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2021, and then fell dramatically in the following year.
Exports by Country
In 2022, Belarus (X tons) represented the key exporter of narrow woven fabrics, generating X% of total exports. Russia (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Uzbekistan (X tons). All these countries together held near X% share of total exports. Kyrgyzstan (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Exports from Belarus increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Uzbekistan (X%) and Russia (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the CIS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. Kyrgyzstan experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. While the share of Belarus (X p.p.) and Uzbekistan (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Kyrgyzstan (X p.p.) and Russia (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

In Belarus, narrow woven fabric exports expanded at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Russia (X% per year) and Uzbekistan (X% per year).
Export Prices by Country
In 2022, the export price in the CIS amounted to $X per ton, falling by X% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a abrupt decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the export price increased by X%. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the peak figure at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per ton), while Uzbekistan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Kyrgyzstan (X%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

Russia represented the major importer of narrow woven fabrics in the CIS, with the volume of imports reaching X tons, which was near X% of total imports in 2022. Uzbekistan (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Belarus (X%) and Kazakhstan (X%). Kyrgyzstan (X tons), Moldova (X tons) and Armenia (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

While the share of Uzbekistan (X p.p.) and Kazakhstan (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2022, the share of Russia (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.
