Exports in CIS

In 2022, overseas shipments of mercuries decreased by X% to X tons for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year rising trend. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X tons in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, mercury exports shrank notably to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, showed moderate growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when exports increased by X%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2021, and then declined remarkably in the following year.

Tajikistan prevails in exports structure, resulting at X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Russia (X tons), mixing up a X% share of total exports. Kyrgyzstan (X tons) took a relatively small share of total exports.
