Exports in CIS

In 2021, exports of granite building stone in the CIS surged to X tons, picking up by 51% against the year before. Overall, exports showed a significant expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 with an increase of 91% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, granite building stone exports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, exports saw a prominent expansion. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 17% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
