Exports of Prepared Dishes and Meals

Exports in CIS

In 2022, shipments abroad of prepared dishes and meals decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the third year in a row after five years of growth. Overall, exports, however, enjoyed tangible growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, prepared dishes and meal exports fell to $X in 2022. Total exports indicated modest growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2016 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

Russia dominates exports structure, accounting for X tons, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Belarus (X tons), constituting a X% share of total exports. Kazakhstan (X tons) and Uzbekistan (X tons) held a little share of total exports.

Exports from Russia increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Uzbekistan (X%) and Kazakhstan (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uzbekistan emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the CIS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Belarus (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
