Crude Maize Oil Exports

Exports in CIS

After two years of decline, shipments abroad of crude maize (corn) oil increased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, exports, however, showed a abrupt contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, crude maize oil exports totaled $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, faced a deep contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The biggest shipments were from Russia (X tons), together recording X% of total export.

Russia was also the fastest-growing in terms of the crude maize (corn) oil exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022. The shares of the largest exporters remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
