In 2022, exports of chromatographs and electrophoresis instruments in the CIS shrank remarkably to X units, which is down by X% against 2021. Overall, exports continue to indicate a abrupt setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, chromatograph exports reduced notably to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a perceptible expansion. There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Armenia ($X per unit), while Belarus ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

By contrast, Azerbaijan (X%), Kazakhstan (X%) and Belarus (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Russia and Uzbekistan increased by X and X percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
