From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to the United States amounted to -X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Canada (-X% per year) and Germany (-X% per year).

In 2021, the average gloves export price amounted to $X per pair, rising by X% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. For the fourth year in a row, China recorded decline in supplies from abroad of gloves, mittens and mitts (excluding knitted or crocheted), which decreased by -X% to X pairs in 2021. Overall, imports recorded a slight curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X pairs. From 2015 to 2021, the growth imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, gloves imports rose rapidly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, total imports indicated moderate growth from 2012 to 2021: its value decreased at an average annual rate of -X% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports decreased by -X% against 2017 indices.
