Dried Mushroom Market Size in Chile

In 2019, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in the Chilean dried mushroom market, when its value decreased by -X% to $X. Over the period under review, consumption, however, saw a strong expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2009 with an increase of X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, exports reached the peak figure at X tonnes in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2019, exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, dried mushroom exports surged to $X in 2019. In general, exports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, exports hit record highs at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2019, exports failed to regain the momentum.

Exports by Country

Germany (X tonnes), Poland (X tonnes) and France (X tonnes) were the main destinations of dried mushroom exports from Chile, with a combined X% share of total exports.

From 2007 to 2019, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Poland, while exports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Germany ($X), France ($X) and Poland ($X) were the largest markets for dried mushroom exported from Chile worldwide, together comprising X% of total exports.
