Exports in Central Asia

In 2022, approx. X litres of whisky were exported in Central Asia; shrinking by X% compared with 2021 figures. In general, exports, however, saw a significant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X litres, and then contracted rapidly in the following year.

In value terms, whisky exports reduced markedly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, enjoyed significant growth. Kazakhstan was the major importer of whisky in Central Asia, with the volume of imports recording X litres, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2022. Mongolia (X litres) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Kyrgyzstan (X%). Uzbekistan (X litres) took a minor share of total imports.
