Glass Fiber Exports

Exports in Central Asia

In 2022, glass fiber exports in Central Asia fell markedly to X tons, which is down by X% on 2021 figures. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, glass fiber exports totaled $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a significant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

Uzbekistan dominates exports structure, amounting to X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Kazakhstan (X tons), mixing up a X% share of total exports. Tajikistan (X tons) took a minor share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to glass fiber exports from Uzbekistan stood at X%.
